Development 1

Chago Interviews That Third Interview Department

hello. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and the Dev1 team?

Hello, my name is Doeun Kim, and I'm in charge of mechanical design for Dev 1.

The Dev 1 team is mainly responsible for designing chillers, writing programs, and testing.

Q. This sounds similar to the role of Dev 2, what is the difference between Dev 1 and Dev 2?

The difference is that Dev 2 at the Cheongju headquarters is focused on Cryo Engine, while Dev 1 at the Hwaseong branch is working on Chiller.

What do you like most about the benefits of working at Chago Engineering?

I like the freedom to use my annual leave.

I like the fact that I can take vacation on the same day if I'm sick, and I can see how much vacation I've taken and how much I have left in the company ERP, so I can calculate my vacation without having to ask my manager.

I have a workshop coming up soon, is there a place you'd like to go?

I would like to go to the sea. Since the headquarters is Cheongju, I would like to go to Seosan or Taean, which are close to there, and eat grilled pork belly, enjoy activities, and have fun.

How do you feel you've evolved since you first joined the company?

I think it's a big step forward for me to be able to take more initiative as I've gotten higher in the organization because I didn't have a major in this area and didn't understand Chiller.

Q. How did you end up working in development when it wasn't your major?

I started out in 3D because I knew how to work with CAD, but as I gained more understanding of Chiller, it was a natural progression into development.

What's your most memorable task since joining the company?

Preparing parts to go into the chiller to prevent leaks.

I don't remember one in particular because I was so focused on every moment of developing Chiller, but as I got more comfortable with the job and developed more Chillers, I think I got more attached to the equipment.

What do you think are the advantages of DevOps 1?

I think the best thing about Dev1 is the cheerful atmosphere.

Communication is important in our work, so we all help each other and care about each other, so it's easy to ask questions and do our work.

What skills do I need to join the development team?

I think the most important thing is responsibility, because the development team has a wide range of tasks, and you can't just do one thing, so you need to coordinate with your teammates. In that situation, you need to be responsible, caring, and flexible, and I think it's easier to adapt if you have those skills.

Do you have any tips for interviewers looking to join Chago Engineering?

I think it's the most basic thing, but it's most important to be punctual. Other than that, my bosses are all very nice, so I don't think it's too hard to get by.
